Dashy Doodles
Hi! You've stumbled across my keychain commissions page :D
For contact, you can reach out to me wherever you know me, but please leave a comment on one of my social medias if you send me an email! I get tons of spam :'}
This is a site for my keychain commissions. See Toyhouse for my normal digital art commissions.
The turnaround time of these is 1-2 months (including making the art for the whole batch first, waiting for production, having them shipped to me and then shipping them to you.)
You will receive the file for the art before I order the keychain, but I am not comfortable with this art being mass produced for merch. I am doing this with the understanding you only want a few copies for yourself or your friends. Please hire another artist with commercial experience if you want more.
I will be accepting these commissions in batches to reduce shipping costs/footprint, so they will not be open indefinitely. If you want one, contact me to be added to a waitlist for my next batch!
Examples
My current proofs are all rainbow keychains with the same clasp. Keep in mind that if you order a different kind, such as normal clear or double sided, it will look slightly different. I will have proofs of these soon, but for now, I can only upload mockups :'}

Some notes on different keychain types:
Normal clear keychains are double sided, but clear. Rainbow keychains are also double sided, but one side is obscured by the rainbow acrylic (see last image). A double sided design will be clear, but have a different image on the back instead of just being a mirrored image.

Chibi ($25), Rainbow keychain ($10), Shipping ($5), Complexity ($10), Additional Copy ($5)

*Please note that if you want a keychain with a different back design, you must pay for the double sided design in the art AND the double sided keychain.**The complexity charge is only for characters you want me to draw that are complicated. I can draw your oc with detailed clothing and complicated patterns, but it will take me longer to finish. So I must charge more for my time to be fair. In any case, I'll tell you if they count before you pay me.
Terms of Service
TLDR
You will receive the file for the completed art before I order the keychain, but it is for personal use only.
Do not claim my art as your own work.
Full payment must be given upfront via Paypal or Cashapp.
You have 14 days to respond to my work in progress images each time I send them. If you ghost me in the process of getting your art done, I will not order your keychain to be made, and you will not get a refund.
By comissioning me, you agree to the terms listed below.
Section 1. Rights and OwnershipI retain the right to all my artworks by copyright law. I may use the work as examples for future commission work. You may repost the artwork file as long as I am credited as the artist- You own your characters, but I own the rights to my work. You are not allowed to sell this art commercially.Section 2. PaymentI accept payment through PayPal and Cashapp. When taking a commission, full payment must be upfront. I will not start the commission before it is paid. Should your payment bounce or be charge-backed, you must pay a fee of $7 in addition to the original commission.Section 3. TurnaroundThe art turnaround for these keychains may vary by the month and how busy I am- it may be within a few days, within a week, or within a month. I am a full time college student, so please allow at least two weeks for me to send a work in progress shot to you, if it takes that long. Generally, I update clients so that they know around what time they can expect their commission. I work on a “as time is available” basis with no set hours, but at the same time, I reserve my right to use this time for personal work.Because I am accepting batches of these commissions, the manufacturing of the keychains will not happen until the entire batch of designs is complete. I try to be timely, but this may take up to a month. Then, the keychains are ordered, and can take 2-3 weeks to arrive to me. After that, the shipping time is entirely dependent on where you live. For this reason, keychains can take 1-2 months to arrive to you, and I cannot give an exact production time estimate.I cannot accept rush fees for these commissions due to the time manufacturing takes. This is completely out of my control.Section 4. Commission processIn general, major revisions to the art may only be requested at the sketch stage, and I reserve the right to refuse to start the commission over. If you would like revisions, you must request them during the process of the commission being completed. Once the commission is finished in its entirety, I will do a final check to clean up the art for manufacturing. After this, no more changes will be made, as I will save the design and then order it later with the rest of the batch.Section 5. Commission file/Post-commission editsShould you lose the digital file of the commission, you may request it from me again, but I cannot guarantee I will have it. You may NOT request a refund for a lost file. I am not liable for what the client or a third party does with the file once the commission is completed, including any alteration or edits.Section 6. ShippingThe current shipping pricing is calculated as a flat rate to send to the US. If ordering from outside the US, you must cover additional shipping costs.Section 7. Cancellations and RefundsIf I, for any reason, am injured, incapacitated, or swamped with work and cannot complete the art portion of the keychain within 60 days, I will give a full refund to the client. This period of time does not include waiting on manufacturing and shipping of the actual keychain, which is variable and out of my control.If the client does not respond to my work in progress messages within a period of 14 days of the wip being sent, I will consider the commission completed due to lack of contact. Reminder messages will be sent in case of the client not receiving the initial notification. A refund may not be requested by the client after 14 days have passed with no contact from the client, as the commission is considered complete.I reserve the right to cancel the commission with 50% refund if the client becomes abusive, ie; Harassing me to complete a commission before the estimated date, suddenly demanding major revisions after the sketch stage, and any other situation that may arise that makes me, the artist, not want to work with you anymore.If the client needs to cancel the commission for any reason other than emergency, the client will receive a full refund ONLY IF the art has not been started yet. Once the first work in progress of the commission is sent to the client, only 50% of the original commission will be refunded. Once the art is completed, refunds cannot be requested.If the client needs to cancel the commission in an emergency (ie. debilitating illness, homelessness, natural disaster), a full refund will be given as long as the art portion commission is not yet completed (the design has not been saved to order). If the art portion is complete, I can only refund the keychain price from the original order.Section 8. Artist-Client agreementsAll contact between the client and artist will be kept confidential.All articles of this Terms of Service agreement are applicable unless specifically discussed in written agreement between client and artist.By contacting me for work, you are agreeing to the terms outlined above.
